Suzette Urick
Suzette is a 5th
Generation Charlestonian, born and raised on Johns Island, the
second largest island on the East Coast. She has been involved
in the outdoors since childhood with a special love of the
marine environment. Her experiences include swimming with wild
dolphins and mantees, SCUBA diving in Charleston and the
Caribbean and is a Certified Aquanaut having logged time in an
underwater habitat in Key Largo, FL. She holds a Bachelors of
Science Degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston
and has worked as a Naturalist for the Kiawah Island Resort’s
Nature Program. Suzette is a certified ACA Basic Coastal Kayak
Instructor and a BCU 3 Star
certified
.
Her enthusiasm for both nature and paddling are infectious and
you’re certain to enjoy a fun and educational trek with her as
your guide.
