This tour involves both the Stono and Kiawah
rivers. We launch into the Stono River and
ride the tide out until we join the Kiawah
River, which we will then cross. Once
across the channel we paddle along the marsh
edge up to the north end of Kiawah Beach for our
landing. We will have lunch and can then
spend time shelling and hiking to the Atlantic
side of Kiawah Island. Magnificent views
of the front beach of Folly all the way to Folly
fishing pier and to the south beautiful Kiawah
Island. |
